Tips for improving BFME!

So here's the thread to discuss what you think that should be changed in the next versions of BFME. Feel free to give your opinion.
 
Well i can tell you ssomthing that has been done and will be tested:

-reterrain of whole harad area kinda.
-reterrain of dol amorths main base
-grima has a new ultimate (AOE CHARM)
-Eowyn has a new ultimate (NEITHER SWAP)
and balance changes ;)
 
neither swap= vengeful ulti in dota? swap 1 hero from like 900range and change places?

-make corpses last longer? because with elven priests u use resurecction because corpses go away like 5sec after they become...
-buff the wolfs of dol guldor theyre so shit now 400hp normal armor good attack though but they die to fast to do any dmg
-nazgul food cost : they start with like 10 units and it takes 28food?
does nazgul take food...? thats just lame because u cant get more than 2 groups ... could be useful to actually be able to get like 3 groups so u can take out a smaller spawn solo(like edoras, lossarnach)
-drunken haze tooltips says it does more then it actually does after u picked it - fix plx
 
the corpses is actualy 20 seconds i think. its against lag mainly but we could upgrade it to 30 seconds with no problems.

No iv already told you corpeses are 5 second trougth a trigger, i tried rasing it but it makes lag..
 
Well i told Turin most of these things yesterday, and he's  going through them also
-Lots of tooltips are wrong, (turin is looking into that)
-Husajek's ulti is LOL cd is 8 seconds <3
-Add to the tooltips how much it gives (lurtz' heal, song of gondor)

I already told turin all of these things......This post isn't really useful z_z

I'll edit in more stuff if I find it.

i already told you that i fixed the value things in levelup toltips already ;)
 
Drunken haze: says it does more when u level it then it does actually after u picked it * fix *
 
Make it so that game doesnt end until frodo is dead; one game last human settlement crushed when I had frodo in mount doom fighting gollum, was really frustrating!!

I understand that it was frustating, however basing the win/loss event on a hero's life isnt that good, imagen hiding your hero somwhere and evil can't win becouse they are searching frodo hidden somwhere, expecaily since he also have Wind Walk and if naz is dead they migth not even have any hero that can see invisible units and get even bigger problem finding him ;), its just up to your team to defend your bases, always atleast keep 1 base uber defended late game so u can be sure to leave the base.

But hey i understand why its fustrating atleast xD
 
Bug:

When I take the key to Orthanc with Grimbold (demi-hero) and use it, I come up to the tower like Saru does. But when I take a book, I suddenly get a Fatal Error. I tried it twice, and it both worked.

that bug accures beoucse Demi-Heroes dont have stats. EG they cant get more streangth or intelligance or aggilitey. For now just dont pick up the books with demi-heroes, however it should be fixeable making it so only heroes can pick them up making it stand "Units cant pick up...." when u klick on it with a demi hero.

that works in every game on Bnet, if units can pickup tomes.
so when ever your losing! pick up a tome with a unit! and GGG u win!
 
Commence sucks.

My commence theory consists in:
In high level games good cannot fight evil armies with commence except if their heroes are level 6 or you have great number advantage.

For a spell invented in this game it makes no sense that it takes such an important role in the map. I mean, the whole game develops around commence! Good can't fight evil with commence, evil when in unit disadvantage just stands and waits for commence. Isengard relies it's 2v1 defense at start in commence, rohan should stay top while there is commence, Lorien at start is taken because of commence.

Let's take a look at the spell:

Lasts 2 minutes
25% damage
50% mana reg and life reg
550sec CD

Lasts two minutes. TWO GODDAMN MINUTES. For TWO MINUTES you have to wank around the map avoiding to fight evil which in theory gives 25%+  damage than it normally does and regenerates at a really accelerated rate. And I'm not even sure you can run around the map for two minutes without having an unpleasant delay at the hands of a commenced Isen. This might cost you a spawn, half of your running army, beacon, a big battle where you started with huge unit advantage or hero kills inflicted or taken (much harder to kill evil's hero stack when they have 50% mana regeneration, the same way naz is much more effective with lot's of mana).

I mean, this whole Commence concept is just wrong, senseless and camping-enabler. For me you could just remove it and decently buff all evil units overall because playing rat and mouse with the same food as the opposing army is really, really bad. Since removing ain't gonna happen just make it so that it is possible for good to win a battle with a decent army advantage when commence is on so good doesn't have to retreat as soon as commence is launched.

I'd propose:
Lasts 1 minute.
No mana or life regeneration.
10%+ dmg
5%+ speed.

I'd guess mordor would need a small buff this way in their black uruk's HP and/or damage.

Ah, Shelob's web CD is imba and Dol's main should be easier to take.
 
¨Tougth honestly running for 2 minutes is a mistake, its beter to stay and batle and actuly lose the battle then run, becouse in alot of games iv seen good run they lost half there army in running... also even if evil wins with commence they migth not be able to attack your basses depending how much army that is alive

anytougth we are gonna nerf commence, tougth dunno if damage shud be lowered that much more like 15% or so.,..
 
i say:
15% dmg
50% regen mana/hp
+1 armor

lasts 1.5 min.

5000 range, instead of unlimited. so it cant be used on units further then.. well about morgul to cair andros.

 
I generally agree with the boosts above, but having only 5k range will make it weak compared to  beacon(if it can only reach cair andros) Thaat would be the same as beacon only affecting rohan basically. And having such a short range would encourage them to go into range, basically pulling back all units to get into range, then activate beacon (which i dont like the prospect of, rather have it like 50 secs, maybe even 30 but affect maybe all the map?
 
buff rohan rider demis - re-add their 15% splash (make it 25% now!)
just dunno why would u remove it in first place kinda just makes rohan hero group weaker .. and they could use a minor buff also give them 50% magic reduction as an elite unit imo or hardened skin or something like that they kinda suck now just like an ordinary rider maybe 100 more hitpoints
 
let the cameracommands work as obs, it really sucks if you zoom in by accident and can't follow the rest of the game properly!
