AFK?

Maybe add an AFK function (happens more in RW pubs but also can happen in BFME) as in DotA?

kinda lame cuz of the pubs who do wait 20 mins for a game happen to still be afk...although its quite obvious it would be good to distinctly define the afk and the nub (nub being the ones who move like only 1 group of units and you don't notice T_T)
 
Ya. A afk check would be nice. Like after 3 min you get kicked if you have been afk.
 
No, it would be kinda fail, since most ppl just go afk, and then watch the screen from afar, and then come back when they see it starts loading. And it's only 2 out of 10 there is afking more than the first 5 mins of the game (when the lobby time is over). I think that I spent more time at desktop or afking than in lobby
 
my cursos goes to top left screen when i finish loading.. so i always get back in time..
and i think that happens for most ppl who go desktop.. so they only miss it if they are actualy really afk.
and not just tabbed.
 
Mine does aswell Turin. I only miss games where I'm afk in lobby, if i get bored of waiting (mby around a 30-60 min wait) and go play smth else (like SC). Then I forgot that I'm in a lobby, and the shit happens. But it rarely does. I'm afking whole game, or the main part, mby 1 time in 3 months
 
yeah i guess alot of people have it go to the top left (i do too), but i mean late at night for east games there are alot more afkers than just 2/10 :|  even then the game kinda does get boring even if 2/10 are missing (typically from the same team as well)


its just the trend that i've noticed when i play late night bfme ...
 
agreed talus. Ive stopped playing BFME for the most part because I play at late times on East and on the occassion we do get a game, someone important is afk and the game is just ruined.
 
regarding make the bot/game kick you if you're afk 3 mins or so, I strongly disagree. You can have to go afk 5 mins or so, and then just share your allies, but still get kicked, or you can come 3 mins late. cud also be that you died and just wants to watch the game afterwards, but still might go afk 3 mins or so cus it doesn't matter. and kicking ppl that are noobs... the autohosting bot is made for pubs, not for knowns, which means that ppl shud have a chance to learn the game..
In any case I'm going to do so you only need over 50% for votekick to work, it's 80% atm I believe. Which means that if you're 10 ppl in a game, 6 needs to vote yes for votekick to happen, (8 before). Might make it easier to kick afkers/tkers alike.
 
At the moment you only need 5 people to kick one. make it 6 is what i meant
 
well it shud be 6 ppl if you're 10 ppl ingame, tho it might not count the 1 in 51 with, and just read it as 5 (50) only.
 
we had a game earlier and it only need 5 ppl to votekick a mordor that was af first 40 sec of game. just when he got back and started moving they votekicked him.
he even picked the right skills on his heros.
 
If u havent respond after 3 min u should be kicked... not if ur afk in the game lobby;)
